Mission Statement

 

Our mission at Church of the Cross is to create a platform that brings individuals closer to their faith, inspires hope and motivation in their daily lives, strengthens relationships, and fosters personal growth and development.

Church of the Cross is a teaching church with a conservative evangelical approach in our theology.  We aim to equip believers with biblical knowledge to ensure they have answers in this world about their faith.

We see there is a yearning for solid Bible teaching in Australia and at Church of the Cross we preach the unadulterated word of God. We will not compromise as we know there is a famine out there for hearing the Word of God. 

"I will send a famine on the land, not a famine for bread or a thirst for water, but rather for hearing the Words of the LORD"

Pastor Paul Homer was led by the Holy Spirit to start Church of the Cross as he saw the need for Christ centered Bible teaching.

In 2014, Church of the Cross was embraced by the Wesleyan Methodist Denomination, and subsequently became a Wesleyan Methodist Church. Weekly meetings are held at Brimbank Anglican Church, Keilor East. We invite you and your family to come along and be fed the Word of God, and enjoy a time of fellowship.

Pastor Paul encourages expository preaching, and offers many programs within the church to build up believers to be servants of Christ.
